My experience using blogs in the English class

At the beginning was a little weird because is not very common use this method for evaluation, but I really like write in my blog. And it was very funny when someone askme "what do yo do in the english class", and I answered "The mondays I write my post in my english blog, and the tuesdays it's a normal class".

In general I think that write in the blog it's a really good form to learn english, because in the school I just memorized the "english forms" for the test and I wasn't really learning, but in the blog I think that I'm really applying my knowledges.

I feel that now I write faster, probably because I'm more confident with my vocabulary, before I had to check in the dictionary a lot of words that I wasn't sure how to write them (I still do that, but just with some specific words). An aspect that I have to progress is how to write in all the "english times" in past and future, for example, sometimes I forget the past perfect continuous and I change the sentence for preterite, and that is a problem for me because I have to change the "meaning" of the sentence to have coherence (I hope that you can understand this paragraph jaja), but with the post I also improved in this aspect, but not completely.

In the future I would like to include something to reinforce the "english times", maybe like put two sentence in future continuous in the third post like a requirement, and in the fourth post put one sentence in another "english time", or something like that.

I would like to write a post about my pets or food, because I love them so much and I can write a lot about them.

I think that this is my last post, it was a pleasure to be in English III with you guys.
See you and take care :)

I really love Chemistry

A subject that I really love is chemistry, I don't kow why, but I always have been good at it, in fact, in the school my average it was always over 6,0. Now in the university it's not so easy like it just to be, probably because it's so much information in a short period of time, but my grades aren't so bad, and I like to learn about chemistry, especially de experimental part in the laboratory (I don't always understand, but is really fun mix differents compounds and wait the reaction).

My "best knowledge" is stoichiometry (basically is the study of the reactions, and calculate the grams, moles or the thing that the exerecise want that you calculate), probably is easy for me because I know how to do this since four years ago, in the school.

The things that I don't understand yet are buffer and aminoacids, I don't know why, but is very difficult to me learn this, I know the concept, but at the moment to do the excercise or respond the question, I don't know how to do it or what is the answer.

Now that the exam is so close I don't feel so nervous, because I like chemistry and I like to study it, so I don't suffer so much like I do with anatomy, I really hate anatomy (The practic part is fun, but my grades not so much).

See you, take care, and lucky preparing your exams :)

South of Chile

I usually visit the north in my vacations, and I don't go very frenquently to the south. Two years ago I went to San Vicente de Tagua Tagua with my father to visit my great uncle and the rest of my family.

This city is located in Región del Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins, It's a really nice place, and when I was there I liked to scale the hill or saw the animals like chickens, cows, sheeps, goats and sometimes I could see a hare in the hill. The most incredible thing is the sky, at the night were a lot of stars, not like in Santiago that is full with contamination. A bad thing in the countryside is the presence of insects, specially for me because I'm really allergic to them, and I have to use repellent or creams for the itching.

San Vicente de Tagua Tagua is the only city that I know in the south, but in the future I really want to visit Chillán, Temuco (Yazmin if you're reading this invite me;) or Puerto Varas with my friends or my family. I thing that is very refreshing and relaxing a "change of air", especially after a semester so stressful like this.

See you, take care :)

DentiBlog

Hi! This week I'm gooing to talk about a blog related with my carrer: "Dentiblog: A blog about  dentistry and others aspects of life".

The link of the blog is https://dentiblog.wordpress.com/

In this blog the author write abot some curiosities of dentistry, and also about thing of life, like travels, adivices, movies, or another things.

I don't look this blog very often because the author don't post very frequent, and in the last weeks I didn't have time for anything that wasn't sleep, eat or study. But when I have time and I remember, I enter to the blog hoping that there's a new post, but the last post was on August 15th 2014. Even if isn't a new post, I read the old ones, because there are a lot of them and very interesting.

The reason why I like this blog is because I learn things about my carrer, but no the tipic knowledge that is in the books, is more about stories or really cool "lessons" about dentistry. For example, how to do a treatment for someone that doesn't have teeth, precaution of diseases in dentistry, cavities, or some curiosities about the history of dentistry.

Take care and visit DentiBlog :)

My favorite music

Is very difficult to me choose my favorite music because I like a lot of songs, so I'm going to talk about some songs that I like, and the reason.

The first song that cames to my mind is "Canción para mañana" of  Los Bunkers. This song brings me memories about my life in the high school because my classmates were always singing and playing with the guitar in the classroom or playground.

The second song is "Locura espacial" of Chancho en Piedra, and remindme a friend that now is studying medicine in Universidad de Valparaíso, because she is really fan of that group.

The third and last thing that I'm gooing to choose isn't a song, is a group: Maroon 5. I don't know why, but in the school, all the presentations about something related with music, Maroon 5 was the answer (in one ocation, me and my partner drew and painted the image of the album for work in school), I really like the type of music that they play, and the most of their songs too.

I think that I don't like the music in itself, I belive that is more than that, I like te feelings and memories that the music transmit, the message that the band want to send to the people, probably that is the reason why is not easy to me choose a favorite music, because all music has something that makes it special.

My favorite picture

This picture was taken 2 year ago in a kind of school trip. My school was religious, so we had to go once a year to a  "spiritual retirement", but basically we played games, ate food, and did reflections.

Mi friend Mary took it, in fact, you can see her, and her leg in the bottom right of the picture.

In the picture you can see me over my friend Javi, the both of us are lay down in the grass, and we have grass in our clothes  and hair. And I don't know why, but my friend Mary took us a photo with my cellphone, and this was the result.

I love this picture because when I see it, I can remember that precise moment when I was with Mary and Javi, all lay down in the grass, without worries, and just laughing. In fact, I not even remember why we were lay down in the grass, but that doesn't matter, because I know that we were just having a good time :)

Actually, I saw Mary and Javi this saturday, in the birthday of another friend, and we have fun like always.

The "mechoneo"

At the beginning of the school year, I was really nervious about the "mechoneo", and I was going to the university with my worse clothes, but with the pass of the first and second week, there's no sign of mechoneo, so I realax about it, and in a normal day (or thay I thougth), The "Mechoneo" appeared.

That day, all the "mechones" were in the physics class, and then, the teacher said that we had to stay in the room for a diagnostic test. The test began with one or two normal questions, but the rest of them were really silly questions. And after that, the "mechoneo" began. We had to walk in line, while the studens of second year poured us with all kind of rare, discusting and nauseating liquids (of unknown origins).

Later we had to beg for money in the streets, to collect a fee, and when we got it, we came back to the university, and the students of second year helped us to clean our clothes and hair with could but very refreshing water (this was my favorite part of the "mechoneo").

When I get back home, I used the metro, and it was so rare because I had all my clothes and hair wet, and I wasn't smell so well. Then I walked to my place, and I take a very very long shower.

P.D: The day after, my feet hurt very bad.
